What are they saying to me?

American Apparel recently placed a new billboard in the LES of a picture of Woody Allen dressed as a rabbi with Hebrew writing beside him. I asked my Israeli friend to translate and he said it wasnt even typical Hebrew, therefore making it impossible to translate. So why is this an advertisement for American Apparel? I know the company is owned by Israeli's, ironic yes, but that is the only connection I can come up with.
